The Wine Candy Company is based in the beautiful Ventura County of Southern California.
It was founded by a passionate mother-daughter team with one goal in mind: to create the next great candy innovation by developing a line of wine based confections.
Using real wine in our process, we bring a genuine wine tasting experience to our candy, complete with a fine finish. Our Wine Vinos are a sumptuous and non-alcoholic confection providing you with the enjoyment of a bottle of wine. Our values ensure we stay true to our roots using only the highest quality ingredients crafted with precision and passion.
It all began at our Pacific View Vineyard and Winery, in the Upper Ojai Valley with our California Dolcetto, a varietal taking its roots back to the Piemonte Region of Northern Italy in their Langhe zone of premium wines. The Wine Candy Company’s first wine candies, including our original Wine Vino Confection, were made utilizing this Dolcetto Wine. Our Co-Founder Jacqueline, a chef in Northern Italy, created our first recipe for our Wine Vinos.
Our production process uses real wine, and due to our special cooking cycle all the alcohol is removed while still retaining a finish that is similar to that of the glass. Since our product is exceptionally unique, it allows us to form our decadent creations into any type of confection so you can enjoy the wine you love, anywhere. Designated Driver safe, this candy can immerse you in the enjoyment of fine wine.
